Hannover - Dukes, Counts and Rulers

Hannover was an electorate from 1692 to 1814. From 1814 it was a kingdom originating from the duchess of Braunschweig-Lüneburg of the Welf dynasty.
The Hannover rulers were kings in England from 1714 to 1837.

From 1866 the kingdom was taken over by Prussia.
